“On The Nature of Things” is a dramatic dance-theater work created by the internationally-reknowned Pilobolus.
Performed by three dancers balanced on a two-foot wide column rising above the stage, “On the Nature of Things” explores the power of iconic bodies to tell a story about the birth of desire and its intertwined connection to shame and revenge. The score, produced by Michelle DiBucci is an adaptation of Vivaldi’s Cum Dederit and Violin Concerto, No.9 with additional music by Edward Bilous and Michelle DiBucci.
“On The Nature of Things” is the fifth collaborative between Bilous and Pilobolus. Previous works include “Night of The Dark Moon”, “Star Gazed”, “Bugonia” and “Lucid Dreams” choreographed by Alison Chase and featuring the American Composers Orchestra.
